Metal Braces
Metal braces are the traditional type of braces for teen orthodontic patients. Today’s metal braces are much smaller, flatter, and more comfortable than in the past. We use a specially formulated bonding agent that provides a layer of sealant protection over the front surface of the teeth prior to placing the braces. This reduces the likelihood of tooth decay around the braces. Clear Ceramic Braces
For those teens looking for a less noticeable option, we offer Clear Ceramic Braces. In the past, ceramic braces were more brittle and were prone to fracture. Our state-of-the-art Advanced Clarity braces provide the strength and predictability needed to provide you and your teen with the result and experience you deserve! Our clear braces look great with clear or colored elastic ties. As with our metal braces, we use protective Opal Seal and a Digital Planning process to give you and your teen teen the safest, most predictable, and most comfortable experience available!
Invisalign Teen
While the majority of our younger teen patients opt for braces as their preferred treatment modality, we see many older teens and active teens choosing removable clear aligners as their treatment of choice. With proper compliance, most orthodontic cases can now be treated with clear aligners effectively and predictably. This allows teens that are involved in sports, music, and performance the flexibility they may need to get the smile they deserve. In many cases this option is just as affordable as braces. Ask your Treatment Coordinator more if you think aligners may be the best option for you and your family.
